No it's online, and seems like it's a misprice. It's more likely supposed to be £403.94 but somebodys made a mistake. Might get honoured but i doubt it, T&C cover for misprices and unless they take the money and ship it out they can still cancel it.
 
As expected the price has been corrected, now up to £369.99. Still a good price but considering some retailers have had PS3 on it's own for £350 recently it's not unexpected.
 
Considering it has only been out a month or so the price drops have come really early. Hopefully by the time I buy in 6 months on so when more games are out it will be even cheaper :)
 
Yeah, I saw this on that other forum ... what's funny though is the people that ordered it and have screenshots showing the mis-priced PS3. They think that this would be enough to force the retailer to sell it at that price. I hope the retailer does honour it for them, but if it chose not to, these screenshots would be absolutely useless.
 
I know another place had a special on them last weekend, they were going for £359, seems very early in the day to be discounting them so heavily.
 
Are the £425 a pop PS3 owners on here not a bit miffed by this massive price cut so soon?

If i remember rightly MS done a pricecut..not so soon after release..and compensated the early buyers.

Well this is not an official Price cut. Shop ordered too much stock or a ton of cancelled pre orders am guessing.

Though I would be very happy if they threw a couple of games in for the early buyers :)

no not really, none of this is offical pricecuts and you pays your money anyway
 
Saw another good ps3 offer in the highstreet today, a ps3 for £270 if you trade in your old ps2. I'm quite tempted to buy it. :)

Wow, that's an astonishing deal, imo... PS2s can be picked up for hardly anything these days, so that's an incredible bargain.
