PS4 FW4.0, HDR, TV, Receiver compatibilty?

Hi

For the PS4 to send HDR signals to a HDR compatible TV, does it also need a modern AV receiver that knows about HDR?

The AV Receiver would need to be HDMI 2.0a Compatible i believe

Or just plug the HDMI from the ps4 into TV Direct and for the audio take Digital signal back from the TV or Ps4 to the AV receiver for the audio?

I was thinking of getting a Marantz NR1506 to replace my old one. This seems to have HDMI 2.0a
