Thoughts on the price on this bad boy? The decision to buy is tomorrow when I get paid :p
Up to you dude I would not though as someone else mentioned not 10 bit so not proper HDR you will have to buy another set in a few years also curved screens I would avoid as you have to sit in front of them straight on! Curved screens like 3D are being dumped as well by the big manufacturers now. You may as well buy this its cheaper and about the same as that Samsung! http://www.argos.co.uk/product/7252844

You will not get a proper HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision 10 or 12 bit HDTV for under £1K most start around £1.5-2K upwards so either compromise and get a fake HDR set under £400 or wait a few years until the technology gets cheaper!

All sets have pros & cons so do your research by doing lots of searching for the model name on google & looking into user reviews (ignore pro reviews most are paid for to say nice things!) you can even look on youtube for player reviews! I would go with either LG or Panasonic they seem to be the best brands for the money.

Buyer beware it seems avoid LG & Samsung RGBW based panels if you use for PC gaming as well it seems they take shortcuts to get the price right down sharing white pixels which can create some strange patterns onscreen  I knew there had to be some downside to how they could produce these 2017 sets so cheaply vs OLED! Its also well hidden unless you do a lot of research on the subject the manufacturers do not declare it on their website but will confirm if you ask them (assuming you knew to ask them in the first place!).

I've read through it all, but regardless of the price, it's a decent set for the 43" LG. And it'll be for a bit of pc gaming, I think I'm buying it tonight from the COOP. Got a £40 off code, +5% coop cashback and 3% cashback on topcashback. I'm hoping it has warranty or returns is easy if it really turns out to be horrid lol

Yeah today, tried out gt sport, but think TV needs some adjusting or settings, couldn't figure out how to turn on 4k setting, it was automatically on 2k. But movie wise, can see the difference

Have you enabled HDMI ultra deep colour mode for the appropriate HDMI input ? if not go into the setting menu its under the general options at the very bottom.
