PS4 to sell 12m units by the end of 2014?

But no actual numbers?

So if Sony sold less, then made it up with better supplies in NA, things could be quite close over all ( not saying it is, but if you sell double the amount in Jan, only because they were not available in Nov/ Dec (( and they even had a week head start))....then its not the big deal some would make believe that they sold that much more in Jan where supplies where met.

Your point still fails as titanfall isnt on a Sony console though...

No the principal of the point I'm making does not fail, other than you are failing to understand.
Titanfall is only MS only due to MS giving EA a huge stack of cash. I think most will agree though, EA are likely kicking themselves now, as I doubt the money MS gave them will make up anywhere near the lost revenue. Unless MS buy Titanfall IP like they did gears, expect Titanfall 2 on PS4/PS3.

Supplies were not met in Jan, ps4 was sold out AGAIN in NA. If there were more ps4 stock available, who knows how much would have sold.

I'd be very surprised if Titanfall 2 appears on last gen consoles.

better supplies in NA?

you do know they are stockpiling for a Japan launch? which is their biggest territory and will need a shedload of consoles for the demand there.

supply for PS4 has been dwindling since launch not increasing.

@anti
If you are a developer, are you going to ignore a 160+ million install base in favour of a 20 million install base? Titanfall is clearly not about graphics anyway, so I doubt they will pass up that revenue stream, especially as EA is in trouble.

Actual numbers aren't released yet but are due soon.

No, but Titanfall is a multiplayer game, and who has the better multiplayer experience of the two? I'm including server setup in this too.

How come Belgium you have no chance before Mid March of getting one yet UK is oversupplied?

Dunno, ask SCEE. I haven't said the UK was oversupplied though, for what it's worth.

Can we also not turn this into another bickering Xbox vs PS4 thread please. It's getting awfully boring.

You really do prefer to misunderstand when it suits you dont you.
Better supplies relative to what they had in the end of December FOR NA!?

Their biggest territory, so big the ignored them and concentrated NA first cause thats the market they wanted the most?.

I dont think yo know how product distribution works either, they arnt stock piling, IE diverting lines of sales form other places, they have product lines divided and set to certain regions spread across many different build lines.

No not better supplies than what they had in end of December. It is estimated PS4 only was able to sell just under 300k in NA in Jan (supply constrained). In December they sold allot more than that.
XB1 is estimated to have only sold 145K, with stock collecting dust on store shelves...

Many ignored Wii when it clearly outsold in unit numbers, so how does that work?

If we are doing it by the numbers, what happened last Gen then, when 360 streaked ahead in numbers of units sold world wide?

And you base that on what?
Seeing as you have no numbers.

I really can't believe I am having to explain this to you, I would have thought it was obvious. They ignored Japan because it was a safe territory, there is no way Xbox will ever be a threat there. It simply won't sell.

To further explain this concept. Political parties for example will divert resources from safe seats in local elections to unsafe seats in in it's campaign against the opposition. It is a TACTICAL decision, nothing more.. nothing less...

Hmm, interesting, then its odd they would go with every single other territory first before their own, strange way to treat your "sure bet", but then the PS2 would probably still be selling more there if they kept making it.
