PSU advice 3070/3600X/AE-9

I’ve been having some instability recently and I suspect my 550W EVGA power supply may have something to do with it.

My Palit 3070 needs two 8pin PCIe connectors. The AE-9 needs one 6pin. I’m currently running the two 8 pins daisy chained from my PSU’s only PCIe cable and the 6 pin with an adapter from two Molex connectors. This is obviously not ideal!

What’s the best bang for buck modular PSU to run my system?

I'm afraid its this RGB monstrosity, its the cheapest decent 750 watter OCUK stock right now. If you are prepared to wait for the non-RGB version but its a bit more money. All the others are more expensive or wont be back in stock until after Xmas.

650w recommend for a 3070 so you will be fine with the rm, 750w gives you more headroom.

I’ve ordered the Super Flower. I figured £10 for an extra 100W is probably worth it. I’m paying the price now for underspending a year ago so I’d rather it doesn’t happen again. I was running an RX580 then and didn’t think I’d ever need anything more.... My PSU is under a shroud so the RGB nonsense is irrelevant!
