psu advice.....old motherboards...

Ive got a ECS pn2 slli2+

and a old dfi rdx 200 cf - dr

Over xmas i want to build a couple of cheap systems for step daughters....

I bought a psu the other week from a high street store and it wouldnt fit the headers....

Anyone enlighten me as to what i need please

I probably could find out with a bit of googleing but i need to order them quick....

Most PSU should fit, as the main 24 pin atx connector has the 4 extra pins which can be detached to make the 20 pin.

Same for cpu power, the 8 pin can be broken to make 2 x 4 pin.

Yeah most psu's have unclippable bits so you can use them on old hardware

thats what i thought.....

so any new psu will do....

Just get el cheapo ones as they are old systems i just wanna get up and running...
