PSU and my specs plz

Just noobie back again i recently got hold of a psu which stated it was a 20+4Pin, 4Pin M/B connector

Just fitted it my case and fitted my mobo and noticed thats its only a 20 pin

Specs of the comp are

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro
K8N-Neo4f
Asus Extreme N6600 Silencer 256MB
Casecom KG-868 ATX Full Tower Case
G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x1GB)

First question is can i fit the 20 pin onto the motherboard without having to buy the adaptor ??

Seconly will this PSU be ok to use for the time being its got no name on

Yes, just leave the remining 4 pins empty.

Yes, but only because you have a low/midrange videocard, should you have a 7900GTx/X1900XT it could have been problematic.

Yep i did have to go for a cheap card.

PSU will be my next upgrade but i thought that being able to spend the extra dosh on cpu and mem would be the wiser way to go

Make sure you get a good PSU, dont go out buying some peice of rubbish, ask on here what will be the best for your money, get a good brand.
