PSU for 9900k and 2080

Both are capable to such power draw that would keep 750W as starting point for good sizing.
If temperatures don't limit boosting and BIOS chases Intel's advertised clocks, 9900K can double its misleading TDP without any overclocking from user.
(if user aims for that 5GHz all core it's more like 250W CPU)
And while reference 2080 is with very reasonable power consumption, non-reference models can exceed that grossly:

And if you can afford that heavily overpriced CPU and GPU with one market position inflated price, there shouldn't be any penny pinching in PSU, which far exceeds both in life span and keeping its value.
At summer value of that Intel likely gets halved and in couple years it's likely low end CPU.
Also with new manufacturing nodes coming for GPUs, AMDs coming GPU architecture change and Intel joining discrete GPU market next year, GPU side's stagnation should be finally coming to end.

So something like Seasonic Prime Platinum would be fitting.
