Hi I've just been given an rma to return a 2 year old psu for repair or replacement, that's been problematic for sum time and nows died completly .I've replaced it with a temporary one and all's working fine, does the cables need to be returned as they are still being used in the case or can it be tested without. Also is it best to send this through royal mail..just wondering what the process is as I've never rma'd before

Hi

I would double check with the retailer or whoever issued the rma. I would imagine that you just send the psu housing without cables, as some manufacturers have been known to send new sealed units as replacements.

Welcome to the forum as well :)

As above double check with the retailer or whoever issued the rma. Corsair, when I had to rma with them (directly) went to great lengths to impress upon me the importance of not sending any cables back but others may differ.
