I've no idea if such a thing exists or not, but I wondered if anyone else has this problem.

I find that whenever I want to buy something, whether it be a £15 DVD or a £1000 TV, I have to deliberate whether I actually need it or not, and if I can really afford it. Now this can go on for days, and I actually feel rather drained by the end of it. I go through stages where I've decided to make the purchase, and then I change my mind.

It might sound daft, but it's starting to get silly. Is it me or does anyone else suffer?

All the time but I don't consider it suffernig, its a good habit to have.

It means by the end of the month, unlike my mates, I am not totally skint, and I don't have a huge pile of worthless material junk I don't actually need anyway.

See I'd be inclind to agree, but it chips away at me, and I can't stop thinking about whatever it is I wanted to buy. Kinda hard to explain.

id take his advice :D you only live life once mate, get what you want, if you have the money... get it... have fun... everything becomes easy :D once you worry then other things in your life appeal to you and cause you to worry more.

Similar, but I decide to buy something, then spend hours and hours researching each (virtually identical) model and weighing up all the features and reviews to work out which is better... only to decide I don't need it, or it's not available. I can't buy anything on a whim.

I often buy little projects for myself :o . They arn't normally expensive luckily, but basically I plan them (after randomly having an idea) and then simply have to complete them properly. I'm chasing after a decimator audio effect (had it on breadboards for weeks now) and now some concrete horn speakers  :(

Oh I do that too, just incase I get something that's not as good as the other thing I missed.

I do the same tbh. Well im like, wondering if I should buy it incase I don't like it or something else is better.

This doesn't really apply to me. I will look at reviews before I buy something, but after that I decide if I'm going to get it and get it.

I also do this, for example i was going to buy Gears of War on the Members Market tonight as someone was selling for just £28, but since im supposed to be saving money and i have exams in 6 weeks, i decided to wait until end of January to buy it, even though i really want it.
