Pure Innovation mobo : Cannot set up my 2 Hitachi SATA 2 drives from 1,5 to 3 Gb/s

Hi there,

My 2 hard drives are plugged on the SATA 3132 controller (integrated SATA 2 controller). They are setting up on RAID 0 and they work very nicely.

I have heard the Hitachi SATA 2 drives are originally set to 1,5 Gb/s instead of 3Gb/s. So today, I have broken the RAID 0 in order to run the Hitachi Feature Tool (v2.01) to change the SATA settings.

Firstly, the Hitachi Feature Tool (v2.01) does'nt work if your drives are plugged to the SATA 2 controller. It only works if they are plugged to the SATA 1 controller. I mean they are detected only on the SATA 1 controller (3112).

Secondly, when I want to changed the SATA settings from 1,5Gb/s to 3Gb/s Hitachi Feature Tools software tells me that SATA settings cannot be changed.

So I need help from you guys.
