Just found a few old coins when tidying up (1999 £5 & 1989 £2) which aren't really worth anything more than face value, But nowhere accepts them as 'they aren't really in circulation anymore'
They are all still 'Legal tender' though, So will the bank accept them? And will it just be a case of handing the few coins over and ask them to put them in my account?
