*****Pyramid is Complete - OcUK has more GTX 580 than anyone else!!*****

I wanna play £50,000 worth of Jenga now =D

....

Must find pyramid of graphics cards so I can knock them all down, muahahahaha!

So worth dropping my 4870's 512mb in xfire for a single one of these bad boys?

I went from a 4870X2 to a 480 and it was a very nice upgrade, especially when the 480 was clocked. The upgrade to the 580 will put a smile on your face. :)

Are you not tempted to wait for AMD's cards to be released?

There to expensive really and most are waiting for 6970, Think how fed up people would be if 6970 comes out 10% faster and is £300-£330... people would spit ther dummys out.

Why would they, if the ATI card is a similar speed and £100 cheaper, yes thats great.

But I'd not be annoyed because NVIDIA right now is not all about performance is it, there is 3D Vision, PhysX, CUDA, Folding, all features NVIDIA have fully working and are a lot better at than ATI at present. :)

Nvidia got plenty of cards out for launch, anyone who wants a 580 should be able to pick one up no problem.

They did not, NVIDIA shipped the GPU's on time but their AIB partners had some issues with shipping on time, hence stock has not been great, we've over-sold on many brands like EVGA and Palit Sonic for example, if there was plenty of stock we'd not be sold out and our initial orders would have been met in full which was for 500 cards for launch, yet we only got just over 100.

The launch was good, but to say there was plenty for launch is incorrect, it could have been better like me for example getting 300 EVGA cards in one hit, which would also result in a lower price resulting in more sales and we'd not run out. :)

You're a smashing sales man Gibbo ;)

There's loads knocking about for £380 still which suggests to me they're not selling as well as you would like to make out.

Yeah, I think a lot of people were expecting a paper launch, I'm impressed by the amount of cards you got for launch of a highend GPU. The fact you have sold so many in a short amount of time at £400 shows there is real demand out there.
