Q Cars to shame the Boy Racers

No way would I see a Maestro and think its fast. Would assume its as slow as my Sisters and my Dads. :p

It might depend slightly who is driving it, if I can see a tweed bunnet and grey hair on the driver with a tartan rug on the back seat then I might be inclined to believe that it's someone who has kept the car since it was new (why I've got no idea, they're not all that good in normal form*) and it won't be fast but other than that I'd be wondering why anyone had kept one so therefore wouldn't be totally surprised if it turned out to be a Maestro Turbo.

*Not particularly quick, not all that economical, not all that comfortable - in standard form they really suit the colour beige, in fact they epitomise it.

Vans must be the best, perhaps they'll never be truly fast but people will always be surprised at a van that shifts.

A heating engineer I got talking to showed me his van - a 2001 old shape Citroen Dispatch fitted with a 2.2 HDi engine and box from some Peugeot car, I think he mentioned 150hp? Next on his list was a remap, got talking to him as he fixed the boiler and noticed he had the same van as me. It was completely standard looking.

Meanwhile mine's the standard 110hp 2.0 HDi, I never carry much weight in it and as far as vans go, it goes like the clappers, certainly left a few little Corsas etc in a plume of diesel smoke :) Would be great fun with 150hp.

Saw this at Santa Pod early this year. Fancy a brew anyone? :D :p

Despite there being a lot of them on the road, I think a lot of people don't realise the capabilities of the Clio 172 as to most it would look like a standard Clio.
