q6600 bsod at 3.2ghz

+2 for memtest, i always keep an ubuntu disk handy for that :)

did you go straight from 1.25v to 1.5v for the vcore ?
if you didn't try any voltages in between try it at around 1.4v
 
just got bsod

my fsb strap to north bridge is set to auto is this ok or should i set it either 200,266,333,400,


i think i have mine left on auto.


*edit - yup just checked my settings and its is on auto.

the only settings i have changed on mine are ai overclocking to manual, vcore to 1.2625 (1.24 after vdroop) and ram voltage to 2.3v, but that is with a q9550. a very lazy overclock i know but i reached what i wanted so easily :)
i had my q6600 on an abit ip35 pro

what bios are you running ? i'm on 1101

yea my bios is 1101
i still cant set my cpu volts at small steps.
 
you should be able to flash it to any bios you want to, you just need to download the bios from asus's site to a flash stick or cd then use asus ez flash in the tools menu in the bios.
