Dear all,
I've read every single page in the super Q6600 overclocking thread, but have a question or two if you don't mind..
I have a Q6600 on a lovely cheap Asrock 4Core Dual-SATA2 motherboard.
It's only got a stock cooler.
Speedfan reads the temps as 21 at idle, though the bios is showing 31 at idle (it's in an attic so i'm more inclined to believe it's 31)
Full load takes it up to around 40 degrees.
Think i could OC it a little on the stock cooler?
I'd love to get it up to 2.8ghz, though have never attempted any sort of overclocking in my life, and would immensely appreciate any sort of guidance!
Thank you
