Q6600 or Q8300

The Q6600 cooler i had was a bit taller than the one that came with my previous E6600.

I was asking why go with 350 x 9 over 400 x 8.

I think it is 356 x 9 to be precise for 3.2Ghz. Afaik for same overclock speed lower fsb is better for stabiliy purposes especially with regards to northbridge. Higher fsb will increase the speed of your system but will put more stress on your northbridge chipset which in turn may need more volts for stabiliy.

It's OCZ Reaper 800mhz CAS4

Good ram the reaper 6400, mine clocked to 844mhz on stock volts, timings at 4-4-4-12.

Mine doesn't seem to like booting at much higher than 800, nonetheless it's good RAM.

What voltage are you running it at? Mine was set at 2.1v, had it in conjunction with a q6600 running 9x422 FSB.
