Q9450 Multiplier underclocked?

I have loaded up CPU-Z to see my info and it's reading that my multiplier is at x6.0 and i have a clock speed of 2ghz. Is it right that the multiplier is ment to be at x8 to give me the correct speed of 2.6ghz? I also have an P5Q Pro turbo motherboard.

do you have speed stepping enabled in the bios. AS that lowers the clocks and multi

Run a stress tester like OCCT, prime95 or intel burn test. You should see the multiplier raise to 8 when under load.
