Q9650 for i7 950 money

Definitely worth £500 !!

Anyone want to buy mine - As I'm generous by nature will knock 10% off retail and include 'free' postage - £450 a Bargain ;)

damn 500gbp, i got mine QX9650 on a auction brand new for 250GBP, (yeah i do mean it, i was seal with the intel sticker, the person who auctioned it, listed it wrong or didnt know about this chip power,) and that was like 2 years ago, damn i was happy, still using it too....so whoever going to buy at that price gotta do some research not like i am saying it is not worth it...but you can save money and get a watercooling system so release its tru power.....

Just done a quick Google, and they sell for £799 UPwards!! but that's the QX9650 (i have one, unlocked multi and all).

Great Chip if you have one, not so good if you have to "buy" one - well not @£500

Shame that the QX9650s are C0 steppings, eh?

They typically overclocked worse (on air and water, due to temperature constraints) than the Q9650 E0s, but once you get them under LN2 or something like that, they shine, since you're no longer temperature limited, and you don't have to push the motherboard's limit due to the unlocked multi.

That is very high for now an old chip. Offers nothing extra from today's leading chips either.

I wonder how many they will sell at that rate.
