That's what he's there for, you fool.

A broken toe is a damn sight more serious than a lot of the idiotic complaints he'll knock back day in, day out.

I know what your saying but i'l feel like a right idiot going about a toe!!!

Altho it is funny in the last few posts i've been called: Fool, Idiot, werido..... dont you just love this section haha :D

weeks! doesn't sound broken.

i broke my little toe recently and could barely walk the next day.
if its broken you would know about it pretty quickly.

I didn't go to the doctors when I broke one of my toes, stupidly I listened to my dads advice of 'well there's nothing they can do for it anyway', and now it's a constant and permanent problem.

Just go to the doctors.

I wonder at what point you'd decide to go to the doctor...

Some guy my wife knows held off going to the doctor about a bad toe (I forget what the root of the problem was) until his foot was so swollen he couldn't fit it in his shoe.

So yeah, he's got 9 toes now, and I gather he's lucky to still have two feet.

WTF do you think doctors are for, if you can't go to them for help and advice when you're ill or injured?

If you don't consider yourself either ill or injured, then stop moaning. Else, go to your GP.

To be honest, I can't really have a go at the OP too much for not going as I do exactly the same thing.

I could be sitting in agony with the wife screaming at me and me saying "I'll give it a few days...the doctor'll just tell me to take some paracetamol...".

Which, to be fair, is pretty much out of experience with any major problems I've had.

First, I spent YEARS suffering insane abdominal pain due to a Heliobacter Pylori infection thriving in my stomach. It took over 4 years before the wife stumbled upon it online - we went and TOLD the doctor what it was, and hey presto after a couple of weeks on meds I've been able to sleep soundly for the past 9 years.

Now, after having severe recurrences of gout for over 2 years - during which I, again, just put up with it as one of those things - she eventually nagged at me enough that I went to see the GP. At that point, they told me it was a sprain and to take paracetamol. It took two more visits to convince them to do the bloomin' blood test and prove it was gout - which it is. Still, that one rests on me - I need to stop drinking so much.

My girlfriend broke her toe a few months back, she somehow managed to kick the pipe from the radiator going into the floor as she was standing up from doing her business.

From what i remember it took a lot longer than 2 weeks to be ok, she wouldn't let me near her in the bedroom for about a fortnight in case i caught it by accident. I did actually knock it in bed about 3 weeks afterwards by accident and she was in tears because it hurt so much.

She normally does street dancing a few evenings a week and she had to stop that for a while, can't imagine how you manage to play football on it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Maybe I'd go if it was hanging off my foot only attached with a small bit of skin...go see the doctor .

Within reason tbh. You think you have broken a toe yet continue to walk and do sports with it. That says numpty to me.

Chop said toe off with cleaver, put severed toe in frozen peas, take said toe and frozen pees to hospital for reconnection.

At least you will have a real reason for going then......
