question about the film 'leon'

I guess the people that think he honestly keeps his money for him are in the process of donating large sums to Nigerian bankers?

hardly. upon viewing again (i first watched this film when i was 17, i'm now 31 and this was the 6th viewing) i believe this part of the film was intentionally left up to the viewer to decide upon this bit. another reason why this film is so top notch.

His boss is trustworthy as he gives Matilda an allowance out the savings as per Leons request if he dies.
I think his intitial reluctance to give Leon a huge chunk of the money was because either he didn't have the liquid cash at short notice or that he didn't trust Leon with it, like a parent might not trust a child to spend their money wisely.

Its a long time since I've watched it but IIRC I thought the bit at the end was kinda a "redemption" thing in that he was taking advantage of Leon's naivety.

Haven't seen it for ages but doesn't she ask him for money at the end and he fobs her off with a tiny bit and tells her to bugger off and makes her cry?

I always assumed he paid for her to go to the school in the end.

He wasn't really stealing, he was just taking advantage of Leons naivety is the way I saw it, it is one of my all-time favourite Films, might dig out my Leon and True Romance DVDs to watch tonight :)

Add Killing Zoe to the list??

It's hard to tell as he gives her $100 which is nothing really and this was to last a month.
