I'm in a strange choice of deciding between a MK5 Golf R32 or a Hawkeye Impreza STI.
Strange thing is, the two test drives I've had totally surprised me;
R32
Impreza
The test drive of the Impreza was from a Chrysler garage too so I can only assume it's been checked over and it representative of any other Hawkeye. Frankly it was nowhere near as fast as I anticipated, not to mention I didnt feel safe in it, it just felt like a big heavy mess. Do my conclusions sound way off? I was very dissapointed after wanting a Scoob for so, so long.
I'm off to test drive an RB320 tomorrow, to see if I take it up a notch it feels any more exciting to me!

R32
- Felt solid
- Sounded awesome
- Excellent responsive steering
- Good braking
- Was like a go-cart, so much fun
Impreza
- Felt heavy
- Brakes were very soft
- Handling was VERY unresponsive - so much give in that steering wheel and no road feedback
- Erm, wheres the Boxer rumble?
- The only acceleration that felt remotely exciting was in 3rd
