question on useing a tv for a monitor ?

would i need too get a monitor for my pc. or could i use my 1080p 37" LCD tv for a screen ? would there be a any issues/problems if i did run my tv as a monitor.
i would be useing a hd 5850 ( if i find a website that as one in stock )

If it has an HDMI input then most certainly!

Dont foresee any real problems with it, although if the driver isnt happy with it, then you might have to force the resolution and refresh rate. I doubt that'll be an issue with a modern screen though.


(Oh and best of luck on the hunt for a 5850 )
