I've got a 50" pioneer coming in January along with speakers / amp. Now I'm hoping to have the cables from the TV and rear speakers concealed into the wall, only I have no idea how to do this... The wall the TV will be mounted on is pretty hard, it's not dryboard. As for the rear speakers, they will be mounted onto dryboard, but still I want the cables hidden.

Are there any guides out there to show me how to conceal cables into walls? or should I pay somebody to come in to do this work?

Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to have done that on my install as i have just put some rears on the wall behind the sofa but i just didnt want to hack the walls and would not even attempt it as i assume you are going to need a plasterer anyway so you could just channel them yourself then fit the conduit and get the plasterer to finish?
