Quick Car Stereo Question

Hey

Can my cd player (mp3 compatible) play mp3s that are burnt onto to a "data" disc i.e. 700mb worth of files or does the disc have to be an "audio" disc holding 80 minutes worth of audio?

You burn them as a data disc so you can have ~160 songs worth.

DAMN. I could fit all the songs on all the cds in my car onto 1 disk.

Oh make sure you put them in separate folders when you do. Most head units can skip a folder at a time, so you just stick an album in each folder. Makes for real easy swapping of albums.

I think some head units are even DVD compatible so you can stick a thousand MP3s on a DVD.
