Quick question about buying an iPhone

Hey there
I'm going to uni in like a months time and i'm gonna get an iPhone on the £45 contract. I was wondering about the credit check that o2 do when you're buying it. Since I'm a student and have no previous credit history but can afford the contract should that be ok to pass the credit check? What does the cedit check involve? i.e. what do they check? Also, does it matter if i get it from an apple store or 02 store? as in is one or the other more lenient with credit checks?

Yeah I'm paying my own way too lol
I've been working like a dog this summer and add that onto student loans I should be able to afford £45 a month
So technically since I don't have any credit history my credit rating should be acceptable?

I've been in my house for the past 7 years now and I've never had to pay any bills or anything so hopefully it should all be fine
