Hi, the modem that comes with BE, which is wireless, can that be used like a router? Like connect a games console and another pc to the network wirelessly?

specs

* ADSL 2+ enabled
* 4 port 10/100 megs Ethernet switch (1 port reserved for future use)
* 54 megs 802.11 b/g wireless interface
* 2 voice over broadband ports (future use)
* 1 analog back-up (future use)
* OS Independent (Ethernet)

Second question is when i build a new pc in the next few weeks, and i want to connect it up wireless to this modem, do i need any special equipment to be able to scan for it? Will i need to buy a router or will a network card or whatever scan for the router and connect?

Thanks.

Yes you will be able to connect to the bebox through the wireless connection.
You will need a wireless pci wireless such as this card unless you have a motherboard with a built in wireless card like some of the Asus motherboards
