quick question for you lot...

if someone owns a house and has a mortgage on it, and they live elsewhere and claim housing benefit without the benefit people knowing about the mortgaged house, is that illegal and classed as benefit fraud?

thanks :)

This all you ever do in your life, peak out windows and snitch on other peoples lives, when you should concentrate on your own. Sad.

*lots of Roll Eyes*

not quite, i see this guy live like a slob off the £600 he gets in handouts a month - he is fit to work but puts on a limp and crutches whenever he goes to the council office, as i said he has a house but still gets housing benefit on the OAPs bungalow he wangled his way into even though it'd be better suited to an elderly person

then i see him borrow £60 off his girlfriend (not gf really just some poor girl who sees something in him, he treats her like ****) saying its going to spent on the admin fees for a loan, and then he goes and puts it in his non-road legal car and goes on pointless drives, then begs me for money when it runs out, he's a lazy 25 year old and relies on 17 and 18 year olds with part time jobs to fund his stupidity ffs!

then he has the cheek to try and hurl my cds out of the window of my car when i want to listen to something different than him!

then when i see that my parents pay £2000 in tax a month (and i will no doubt be paying it soon) to fund bone idle morons like this it gets slightly annoying

i used to consider him a friend but all these small things have just mounted up and i cant ignore the fact he is knowingly defrauding the country's taxpayers

can you see my point now?

Sounds petty to me. Seriously, whats the point? I don't agree with what he doing in the slightest but it just sounds like you have nothing better to do with your life.

If he is the kind of looser you make out then why was he in your car in the first place?

i cart him to college some days

i wouldnt say its petty, he gets given £600 a month hes not entitled to and acts like a 5 year old

2k a month in tax?

They must earn about £80,000 a year!

So if they earn that much why do you live next to someone who earns 600 in benifits?

combined thats about right yeah

i dont live next to him, i met him at college and we were friends, but over the past few months ive come to realise that he's not entitled to the money he's getting, and things he does annoy me more and more

If they stop his benefits he may go out and get a job...and do himself a favour not anyone else....you may be helping him smiley man......when some1 says your a grass.....does not mean you are not helping him...

thing is he's at college at the moment and hoping to go to university, if he loses his bsnefits he will have to leave college and get a full time job

heck i dont want him to go to the same uni as me (although he seems to want to) but i dont want to mess up his chances of a decent education, i may be seen as a bit of a **** by grassing him up but i dont want to mess up his future or anything
