Is it worth going to New York for 3 nights ?

It's gonna cost me £330 each, return (flights only) for me and the other half as a surprise.

How much will the hotel be for 3 nights (roughly - and a 3*) - I worked out the Hotel will be approx £150 - so total is £500 each - or £1000


Do you think its worth it (as I can get 3 nights in Rome with Hotel for £300 - so £600) - which might be just as much fun.....

its a big city for 3 nights... I wouldnt expect to get much done but if 3 nights is all you can stretch (due to work or whatever) then go for it. If you have the time, cheaper hotel and more nights tbh.

It's not that big a city tbh. You can walk anywhere you want to go.

I'd go for Rome. Closer and cheaper. And it seems like a nice city. Seems a bit more romantic as well. Then you can really treat when you're there with the money you've saved.
