I've been out of the loop of the latest PC hardware for a while now, and I currently have a Lian-Li PC7 case, which makes horrible vibration noises.

I previously had an Antec P180, it was good, but not brilliant (PSU cables not being long enough at the time).

I've been looking around, but I'm a bit stumped as to which one to go for.

My criteria:
  • A quiet PC is my priority, so I would like a solid case that doesn't vibrate and has sound proofing
  • Less than £150 if possible
  • Easily removable dust filters
  • Large enough for long graphics cards
  • Easy access to all components inside of the case, making installing of a PC simple
  • Good airflow for graphics card (ATI card is very noisy)

I was first looking at Antec P183/P193, but reading on the forums there have been many other recommendations such as the Coolermaster Pure Cosmos, Fractal R3 (would it be too small?), or even the Fractal XL cases.

Really appreciate if someone could narrow down the choices for me :)

Thanks

R3 or XL.

You might also want to put the hafx x on the list as a wild card which is very good for air cooled.

Fractal's dust filters you have to unscrew to remove, I just clean them in place. The PSU filter is a bit of a pain to remove too, but that isn't really their fault!

I don't know whether you can still get Silverstone FT01?

Received my HAF X today and took me several hours to transfer everything over. It's been a long while since I've done any tinkering with my PC, and it really showed. I ruined about 7 brass standoff screws because I was using the wrong motherboard screws. Took me a while to work that one out!

Very happy with the case, and it's keeping my hardware very cool. Normally when running folding@home my CPU temp goes to low 40s, but now it remains at 33C and when idling it is about 30C. Also cleaning the heatsink of a huge amount of dust might have been a contributing factor :p

Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W

Can be had for around £130 new & meets all your requirements

edit nvm just say u got a haf bad choice :P
