Is the Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler the best and most quiet air cooler?

Or is there anything else I should be looking at?

Will be getting Antec p280 case for it to fit in.

The most quiet of the dual tower coolers is the Thermalright Silver Arrow and that gives the same performance as the NH-D14. Since that's not in stock, there are the Alpenfohn K2 and Phanteks PH-TC14PE to consider. These are cheaper than the Noctua on OCUK. The Phanteks is the best performer but isn't as quiet whereas the K2 is on par with similar noise levels as the Noctua. It also benefits from PWM fans.

+1 for the Silver Arrow. Had mine on my i7 920 now for a few months. Been very impressed by it. At medium fan speed its very quiet in my Fractal R3, at full speed it does get more noticeable but still not loud. Temps wise, its again pretty good. Despite being in a case with limited airflow like the R3, idles at around 35C at 4GHz and during prime hit around 75C.
