Quiet mode for WD AAKS?

Hey..

Now I've turned all my fans off I can hear my WD AAKS seeking.

Is there a quiet mode for it? I know there was for Maxtor drives?

You would need grab the Hitachi Feature Tool and boot to it and see if the drive has Acoustic Managment and what its set to, I personally turn it off on all drive I own.

I also leave it off on all my drives. If you can't hear it with your fans on then surely that's fine as you would rarely turn them all off?
