Quite possibly the best sleeper in the world

A sleeper is supposed to be understated, sorry but I don't see how anyone would consider a Vintage car understated. It's going to catch the attention of almost everyone who sees it, a true sleeper is supposed to do the exactly opposite.

It's not supposed to be understated, it's just supposed to be a hell of a lot of faster than anyone could possibly guess just from looking at it.

Clearly is a sleeper

Just because its not a banged up estate doesnt take away from the fact if that did 0-60 in 6secs you would be a bit surprised.

A sleeper would normally be a car that looks completely standard but isn't. It has nothing to do with whether it's vintage or not.

LOL That mad car is what Van Damme needed in Timecop! Not long into the film when he goes back to the 30's to arrest that crooked character making a mint with the stocks n shares.

And yes that car has to be the best sleeper in the world! :D

Edit: A bit of digging with google suggests this car belongs to a well known rally driver from finland who wishes to remain anonymous, wonder who that could be?

Also I just showed the video and build log to my kids lol, my son's jaw hit the floor!

It looks like it would go a bit sideways with ease :)

Are they oil dampers connected just forwards of the rear axle? With the connecting control arm type arrangement? (Look slightly like bottlejacks)
I didn't see any pics of the rear axle. At the front it's got lever arm dampers.

Some model A's came with a built-in jacking system, so if you got a puncture out in the rain you could jack the car up from inside without getting wet. It might be that you can see. You also see it on English Ford Pilots and sit-up-and-beg Populars.
