Neither have any bundled game.

Both have a 2 year warranty (I think).

Retail packages seem similiar in content.

Near identical pricing.

Soo.....................

Thanks.

my xfx came bundled with battle forge, and i think its a one year warranty, but dosnt bother me i rarely keep cards longer than a year

Since my 3870x2 developed a fault, I will generally just go with the card that carries the longest warranty.

Do you have any problems running old games..?. There are loads of sapphire users myself included who have problems with the card crashing playing the older games. I play spearhead and it crashes anything between one minute and 10 minutes into playing a game on-line. I was thinking of getting the xfx one because my old xfx 4770 worked fine...

I have a Sapphire 5770 and a VTX 5770 and the cards are identical, The part numbers match etc. I would imagine that all the cards are identical just bundled with different software. I would personally avoid Xfx as i found their aftersales to be awfull. I sent a card away for repair and they claimed to never recieve it even with proof of signature at the repair centre. After 4 weeks of arguing it turned up on their engineers desk..?

I bought a Powercolor 5770 which I'm sure is the same as all the others and the XP64 drivers are dreadful. It doesn't turn off the monitors after the 20 min idle period and it hangs randomly. I hope the 09-11 drivers do come out this week or the 4670 will be going back in.

I would like to know, if they can't sort the drivers, where does this leave us with regards to returning the items. In my opinion they are not fit for purpose, so can we get refunds...?

I have not had any problems with my two. Monitors switch off after 15 mins as normal. Only issue i have is random crashes in crysis but thats a known problem with crysis.

I,m using the latest official drivers from Ati with a moderate overclock on both cards. I tried the beta drivers but had random issues with blue screens since going back to the official ones i have had no problems.

Perfectly happy with my two Sapphire 5770's, I did have an issue that installing the video drivers caused a video lockup, but I could still see HDD activity, so I just left it as long as I thought it needed to complete the install, then I ran a shutdown command.

Came up fine and has been fine since.

The asus 5770 comes with a 3 year waranty and unlocked bios so no need to flash if you want to overclock more than ccc can.

Don't fret, they will sort out the drivers. I expect the set due for release this month will be fine.

Ah, thanks. Something had sneakily changed my power settings.
