Radeon 9800 Pro - AGP only yup ?

Just checking as I'm getting a new graphics card for the wife's Dell 9300 and don't wanna buy the wrong type of card (AGP instead of PCI Express).

I know its got a 9800 Pro, but the slot it fits into is bright green, not the standard chocolate brown of all other AGP slots I've seen.

I suppose Dell are just making a design statement ?

It's bright green on the office 8300 as well, AFAIK yours should be an AGP slot as well, if in doubt take a picture and post it on the forum and we'll tell you in an instant. 9800's were not made in PCIE IIRC.

AGP slot you got there, so get an AGP card to update it.

iirc gigabyte was also bright green.

Yeah 9800pro is AGP, and as said above Gigabytes AGP slots were bright green, my old one was.
