Ooof, does anyone that reads this forum actually listen to Radio 1? Or, indeed, any of the big radio stations?

I tend to have my radio in the car tuned to Classic FM most of the time and occasionally Radio 2, but if I'm out and about it's Team Rock Radio. Because that's how I roll.

I agree completely with this, I used to really enjoy XFM's breakfast show, Moyles on Radio X was a bit rubbish. Hopefully it's just because it was the first show and it improves (and plays more actual music).

I was shocked to hear Moyles on Radio X this morning. He talked continuously for the 10 minutes it took for my morning ablutions and was as funny as a cot death.
 
Each to their own I guess.

I used to love the Moyles banter on a morning. Glad he's back, my Mrs, who I now car share with hates all radio in general... think I might need to start driving in on my own again :p
 
Glad to see Moyles back.

I have an irrational hatred for Grimshaw.

1) Just because he is a radio DJ he has the ability to showcase new 'talent'
2) He's just released a line of clothing for TopShop. I bet all 'proper' designers out there are crying! Literally anyone can release a line these days!

He is unattractive and looks like a ****.

Actually so does Moyles, but I would rather get a beer with him over NG any day.

Glad he's back, will have to remember to tune in!

P.S. It's not an irrational hatred, it's a perfectly legitimate one! The guy's a knob and as pointed out in a previous post:

I'll be tuning into Radio X tomorrow morning, Grimshaw is annoying, his features are rubbish and his interviews are cringe worthy.

I miss Moyles, I don't understand the hate.

Can't stand Thick Grimo.

Moyes is a marmite type of character, but at least he has some character. Radio One breakfast is painfully difficult listening at times.

Just because Radio One wanted to go "younger", didn't mean they had to go stupid. All the other Radio One DJs are a vast improvement on Thicko.
 
Yep 6 music, I am up early and chap before Keaveny (who is also a annoying T**T) with the so called "features" is much better. But 6 music play much better tunes throughout the day. Apart from when Steve Lamac`s shows. I cant stand him for some reason. He is a like smug male Joe Whiley. Both should be sent to North Korea.

Yup.
He better not use this as some method to wedge himself into radio2 in a few years time.
Still considering starting the 'Say No to Moyles on 2' campaign now.

I had to smile at the comment regarding staying with XFM even with Moyles as it has the best music, give it a couple of weeks, there won't be any music, just Moyles being Moyles.
And for the chap saying he missed comedy Dave, reasonably sure they dropped the 'comedy' part of his name ten years ago when they realised he had not said anything funny for 5 years at that point ;)
