Haven't listened to Grimmy doing the breakfast show yet, but I've heard him on other timeslots previously, and not really a fan.

Moyles was always about the banter and bad jokes, it was just good listening in a weird way.
 
I only really started listening to Radio 1 when I started working in an office/commuting to work early and commuting to different work locations. I used to hate mising the Chris Moyles show of a morning so much so I'd listen back on the iplayer for the mornings when I was too busy to listen, don't think I missed one in years.

I can fully appreciate why someone wouldnt like the show, because there was very little music, just banter - which is what I liked! His humour is similar to my own and I honestly just preffered his banter to anyone else on the radio.

I started listening eager to hear what Grimshaw was going to do (Was really hoping Greg James would've got the slot over him) with the show. So far I'm dissapointed, but I can't write him off yet as the only other option is Evan's, who just isn't for me.

Moyles was more entertaining than Grimshaw.

On a larger scale Radio 1 is better than Radio 2 which is aimed at people who dislike change and enjoy becoming angered at small trivial issues. I refuse to listen to a station that hosts the Jeremy Vine show which is pretty much the Daily Mail in radio format.
 
Tried for the 3rd time this morning, as soon as pay day is here im getting a head unit that I can plug a USB/iPod into, it is terrible!
 
6MUSIC or gtfo.

I liked edith, and that irish guy who now does 5live but the other daytime presenters on radio 1 are just pure drivel
 
I stopped listening to Radio 1 breakfast when they got rid of Mark & Lard.
Generally don't listen to radio, but in the morning I'll stick to a channel from the "Heart" network.
 
I used to listen to Chris Moyles and the show made me laugh a few times but Grimshaw doesn't really hold the same clout so far...

I only listen to about an hour of it though, maybe I will try Chris Evans, although am sure I will find him irriatating...
