Just cleaning up the house when I heard one almighty roar which just got louder and louder. Ran out into the garden like some 5 year old to see what I think was a DC10 tanker or similar with 4 Jaguars (again I think), 2 on either wing, flying in formation really low over Aylesbury in a large, fast banked turn.
There is something just so impressive feeling the power of some jet aircraft flying low. It left in me stood in the garden in awe and brought back memories of seeing the Vulcan fly at Halton air show 20 years ago - I can't wait to see that beast fly again.
So not sure if there is an event on today, perhaps a Falklands thing going on?, but we don't usually see much in the way of aircraft on display in these parts and was certainly an impressive sight that made my morning

Only live down the road from Shuttleworth Collection, if anyone's heard of it.
