Took one of the organised tours of RAF Shawbury yesterday. Shawbury has a number of roles; helicopter training, airframe storage and ATC training.
Was good to take a nose around but it's a shame most of the Apaches have almost all gone now. The ones left were being serviced and were surrounded by boxes etc so didn't produce any good photos.
Photography inside the hangers was challenging as there was very little light.
