Hi does anyone else notice after the bit where you team mates get taken and your in the warehouse top floor working your way down that the frame rates are all over the place i.e look one way and I get 60fps then turn to the left and I get -30 fps?? this seems to want to gravite towards 30fps very strange, must be the poor 360 port.

Also the shadows are the main killer.

Also I notice with hardware skinning off I get 3 fps extra? which is strange as I thought it would be better using the graphics card instead of the cpu??

Also make sure you have the multi threaded optimization on auto in the control panel for nvidia this makes a big difference to fps

On a positive note the game is great, the vegas level is very smooth at upto 100+ fps with all that lovely glass to smash!!!

Yeah, thats puzzled me too. The vegas level where you are in a firefight in the middle of a road with loads of vehicles spewed everywhere seems to run smooth on my x1900xt, even though the scene is graphically very complex, yet other times I'm in a closed room looking at a wall and the fps drops like crazy. Smells like very poor code porting if you ask me.

Its from Ubisoft, home of poorly coded console ports. SC: DA is another prime example.

I found a nvidia profile for vegas which helped (just google 'vegas nvidia profile' & its the 3rd 1 down at adan dtech), install instructions there too.

I found turning off eye adaptation helped, never noticed the brightness changing anyway, after being in a dark area then going to a bright area.

I cant see much HDR going on either with this game, like the comparison between graw on 360 vs PC/xbox.

If anyone can figure out the 'config.ini' files in this game please tell us the file names which are used, thanks. As there is an opengl option too, pluss other tempting config options like lowering shadow resolution etc.
