RAID 0 Speed decreased from 280 to 200

Why would that be ?

I've two Samsung F3s in a RAID 0 and after installation the speed has gone down from 280mb/s to 200 mb/sec is there anything I could do ?
 
More info required.

1. What is the RAID 0 volume being used for? OS?
2. What stripe size are you using?
3. How is the speed being monitored?
 
Cool. Next question I guess - what is the size of the volume (2 * ??) ? I ask that, as obviously if you create a new RAID 0 volume with minimal data and lots of free blocks, the storage controller wont have to traverse much to find blocks to store new data.

The more congested it gets, the longer it takes to find your data / write new data.

What was the size of the volume at original benchmark vs new benchmark, capacity wise?
 
It seems faster now I defraged it :)
It's two 1Tb Hdd so 2Tb in total. Still fairly empty just a few Gb :) I don't think I'll worry about it
