*** Railworks 2 DLC Bargain - 78% Off!! - Now Only £149.99 ***

Pretty crazy amount for the DLC!

But... when you think about people who've played wow since release (£500+) or played multiple MMO's at once (£5-£15/mo each) or those nutters who used to have 2+ EVE accounts (errrr me!) then it's not actually that bad!

Ah glad I didn't make a new thread:

Bargin. If I bought it even if I really was an anorak trainspotter; I would be scared that I just would not play all of it.

It doesn't make sence on so many levels.

Ok u have the game u like it, u want more but u will be buying duplicates. Never had the game? Spend £150 on a game which u may not get into? Beggars belief.

What happened to the spell checker?

Lots of money, but looking at some of them, you do get quite a bit of content. The Class 66 DLC, for example, isn't just the train, its 6 different livery varients of the train, 3 new wagons, and 11 new scenarios.

If you're into that kind of thing, buying all that DLC is going to keep you busy for a long time to come.

It would be so much better to just make an open source railroad sim game where anyone can mod and create this stuff, and distribute it for free.

The game is moddable with free content if you wish, what do you have against this game which you obviously of no intention of liking or playing but insist on knocking.

The paid for DLC is there for personal choice, nothing wrong with it.

Actually im not a train fan, but the amount and quality of things is pretty sound for the price right there..Just like the FS9/X series with Payware aircraft, you can easily match the total price of this bundle and beyond with just a handful of planes.

A few years back I had an intense flirtation with Auran Trainz for a while, I've no real knowledge of Railworks, but if the models are up to scratch, it seems pretty good value. I can imagine some hard core Railworks fans are gutted at this sale price though. :D Thankfully I'm cured, so won't be taking up the offer.

As for the rights and wrongs of DLC, I suppose it depends on how much stuff was in the base game, doesn't it. I think it also depends on the nature of the game too, and how easy (and quick) it is to create your own free alternatives to payware.

In this case I'm will to give DLC the benefit of the doubt.

Chuffing marvelous

I thought this was a misprice but I can imagine theres a lot of demand for train porn like, Up the Junction :o
