Rain at last

Like you, haven't had any rain for ages but got woken up at about 5:30 this morning by an almighty rain storm. Its just gone very dark too so I suspect it'll be raining soon too. Unfortunately its still too bloomin hot though :(
 
Getting dark here too. Can't wait, I'm going to run outside for a royal soaking :D
 
Oh for god sake, I'm supposed to be having a BBQ.

It's boiling in the week at work, then at the weekend it ****** down.
 
Very oppressive today, a storm is definitely brewing.

We had a couple of almighty claps of thunder last night, but not much rainfall.

I normally love the heat, but it's too close and humid today to enjoy any of it.
 
Yup looks quite dark and threatening from the southeast, just my luck decided to wear my shorts and sandals into work and by the time i finish up here it will be chucking it down :p. Hmmm wind is picking up as well here in the docklands...oh well at least it will cool down somewhat and bring some peace and quiet from the whingers who keep moaning that its too hot:p.
 
Oh great, looks like I'm going to have the time of my life today with ****ing weather avoidance :mad:

At least it seems to have cooled down a *little* bit.

Yeah it woke me up at about 0500. I had all my windows open and had to mop the floors at 5 in the morning before going back to bed. I wasn't best pleased :p
 
Had a good bit here in Sheffield, lasted for about 30mins but its gone now, was just cooling it down a touch as well. :(

Warm again now though, i won't complain if another storm turns up.
 
Was woken up by rain at 4am. Two short, heavy bursts - probably lasting no longer than 2 minutes. :mad:

We're still waiting for our thunderstorm in Darlington. When/if one does come to us, it better not be a single shimmer of the sky, followed by a pathetic rumble. :eek::mad::mad:
