Ram speed and latency matching?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if I have to match the latency and speed of all my ram sticks?

I have some Trident Z 3200 CL15 in there at the moment and I am looking to get 2 more sticks but I don't see them available anymore.

The other option I am thinking about is selling the two sticks I have got and getting Trident Z RGB.

im sure it would work, but it would be far less than ideal.

It's recommended to not only match speed and latency but brand and model number! I would go for your second option

You want whatever you get to have the same chips and rank as your current set. Beyond that it doesn’t matter as you can set speeds manually. Clearly be limited to the slowest kit.
