TBH real world difference will probably be very small when playing the Gameloft games - they will deffo be compatible though. Both play HD MKV's too.

This is a good review and says that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi 16GB is noticebly faster than the Tab 2 with difference of 30fps in Riptide.

Also is it just lighting? the screen to me looks far better on the Tab 2 but the reveiwer didn't mention it, He did say that the Tab 2 also loses the LED camera light of the Plus hmmmm.

should be the same PLS screen on both.

The Mali GPU is nealrly twice as powerful compared to the SGX540 in the tab2 - I guess at this res it really shows - although the Galxy Nexus uses the same GPU and higher res and that copes fine.

If 3D gaming is a high priority - then the plus is more suitable for you.
 
Lol I'm going forwards and backwards!!!

I would say 40% of it's use would be for gaming, so it would be pretty important. Looks like the Plus then!
 
Ok I've done it, Ive ordered the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi 16GB for £206 inc. RMSD :D

As a further bonus this one comes in white which i didn't realise :)
 
Yeah I noticed it didn't come with the IR blaster about 10mins after I placed my order! But when you weigh everything else up its still a nice Tab at a great price :)

Also read that the official EU Samsung charger is rated at 250v and if you have an adaptor to make it fit a UK 3 pin plug it will work and charge the Tab properly as it seems the one the retailer sends out is a little slow.

Only thing I want now is a nice slip case and of cause ICS!!!

There working on a ICS CM9 port for the Plus
 
Can't believe it, just nipped home to find I've been carded by DHL, when I ordered it said RMSD. So naturally I thought I'd be able to collect it from the sorting office around the corner, instead I've got to wait 24hrs then drive about 15 miles to east midlands airport in rush hour traffic to collect it :)

When I do eventually get it I'll post about the Samsung Tab 7.0 Plus in a new thread :)
 
Just arrived screen is stunning and its very well made compared to the other cheap tab I got. Came from Ebellkin who are famed for having terrible customer service but have been fine for me so far just would not want anything to go horribly wrong.
