As above. Ran upgrade from XP media centre. Now I have an administrator account and mine. Prob is I cannot delete my temp files folder and its full stopping me installing programmes.. Is this to do with to users?
I ran ccleaner.
Not clear on what I am missing.

Weird

Probably best off doing a clean install, when all said and done. Upgrading an OS is never going to be as clean installing it fresh.

True but it was an upgrade cd and done now. So I cant change that :(

Well as far as I know, it's possible to do a clean install with an Upgrade version. It's down to whether or not you want to though, but I suspect you'd have a quicker, more-reliable system if you do. :)

As far as I know even the upgrade of Vista does an effective clean install before it then migrates settings and files from the previous OS across.

You normally get this type of problem when the user SID is no longer valid so you end up with a permission on it that the system can't interpret. Have you tried taking ownership of the folder?
