Has anyone perhaps thought that Dave loves the attention his posts get. Never responds to his statements in any meaningful way.

Considering his ignore list and those that have him on theirs, he sure does take up a lot of posts in this section.
He urgently needs to find a girlfriend.

We need to understand Dave, AMD with 1 year old architecture and simple cache integration destroyed top ADL model, can you imagine what will Zen 4 with completely new architecture and better cache integration, 5 ghz clock do against Raptor Lake? Dave will be in meltdown mode, just like skylake architecture.

He'll just flip flop back to "CPUs don't matter at 4K" mode.

Rocket Lake - 30th March
Alder Lake - 4th November

Zen3 refresh = "Spring" 2022
Zen4 = Q2 2022.

Hmm.

Dave Zen 4 is H2 not Q2, there is a difference. Also the refresh is just a single SKU to show off 3D cache, much like Intel is releasing teh 12900KS just so they can show how much power they can push through there chips. AM4 5 years of support, Z690 12-18 months. You really do need to stop and think

Gonna be a tough year for Intel, from Spring onwards.
I think come spring Intel will be in a decent place as board options should have increased and prices will have dropped and if DDR5 hasn't decreased significantly in price when Zen 4 arrives then RPL may offer a cheaper upgrade for many.

True, they will do well with Alder Lake for a few more months, why wouldn't they?

Still decent single core performance on the P-Cores.

All major IT shops also says different story.
If you had read what I wrote then you would know I was not about sales figures but rather the CPUs performance.

AMD is feeding off the mindshare they built up but it's already started to reverse and will continue to do so while they charge more for an inferior product.
