2004 Fujitsu Local Support Team



One week’s work experience in Customs House, Belfast, working alongside their local support team. Whilst working with the team I helped maintain systems and servers. Other tasks which I was involved with during this experience, included:



· Working with and installing various Windows OS’s (2000, XP)

· Fixing faults on various sites via remote connection

· Building and testing computer systems

· Adding systems/devices to the network



Employment History



2005 Tesco PLC: Customer Advisor



Working in the Beers, Wines and Spirits Department on a temporary basis over the Christmas period. Line of work included stock taking, restocking shelves and dealing with customers.



2006 Telecom: Apprentice



Working alongside the Technical Manager, providing assistance during new installs and equipment upgrades. Being trained on Siemens Manager E system programming software, Hipath 3000 Series installing system hardware and other basic telecoms.





2007 - Telecom: Telecom Engineer



Engineer working for a Telecommunications company within the United Kingdom, situated in its Northern Ireland branch. Line of work includes installing and maintaining customers Siemens telephone systems. Other duties within my position include liaising with BT engineers on change-over days, training staff on how to use the system and the features that it offers. Providing customers with technical support to the best of my ability.



Additional Skills



Has a good knowledge of Computer Networking (CAT5, patch panels, routers etc) and has a background in IT. Also has a basic knowledge of Telecoms. A very ‘hands on’ person who can work on cars to computers.



Interests



Hobbies and interests include Computers, Technology, Home Cinema, Motorsport and Mountain Biking.

I thought writing your CV in third person was a definite turn-off? It certainly reads a bit funny to me.
