Scrums!

Crouch, touch, pause engage doesn't work. There is effectively two pauses, you have crouch, touch and then you get a pause before the referee says pause again, then you engage.

It needs to be crouch, touch, engage.

I barely understand the rules of Rugby, but it is one of those sports that is entertaining even when you have very little clue what is going on.

As someone that's probably watched even less games than you, it seems a relatively straightforward game to me.

Get the ball and run with it. Try not to stand on the wrong side of the pitch when you do get it. If someone gets tackled, pile in. And at some point, the ref will blow the whistle and award you or the other lot a penalty.

I'm still working on that last point.
