As above I have been looking at cases for a while to replace my somewhat cramped Lian-Li Pc60. Looking to purchase it today!.

I really like the look of the original Cosmos but not so much of the sport that has superseded it. I also remember once seeing a copper anodised G70 once on fleabay and reallt loved the look of that case.

So if I had a budget of ~£120 what case would you suggest?.

Chris

Ps. No antec 900 or the likes as i am looking for stylish looks with minumum noise if at all possible??.

I do want the G70 but I read in a review and i appreciate that this may have been sometime ago but it mentioned that there is no blanking plate for the redundant psu?.

Is this the case today if not then i will certainly be paying OCUK today for this classic.

The Lian Li G70 wins, (but I'm a Lian-Li and Silverston fanboy)

There is a blanking plate for the redundant psu slot, mine came with one.

You could give OCUk a call and ask them to confirm

Thank you Van Diemen.

That's good news. I shall purchase this case. Can i ask about the fans?. Are they quiet or would I be best purchasing quieter fans as im looking to strike a balance between quiet and cooling.

Cant help you there but if they are loud just replace them with some Yate Loons as they are like 3 -5 quid each.

I think the fans were okay sound wise, but others may think them loud. I currently use Noctua fans, these are dead silent

Just as an update. I have gone and purchased the G70 from here as there is nowhere that will touch OC's price.
I also purchased the Zalman ZM-MFC2 from elsewhere as i thought it would really look nice and break the case up. OCUK unfortunately didnt have any in stock:(

Anyway thanks guys for your help
